Hungarian Hotel Monitor (formerly Hungarian Hotel Performance Index) has been operated by Xellum since 2009, with the professional help of the Hungarian Association of Hotels and Restaurants. It is an information technology system that collects and processes data of hotel performance on a daily basis; designed to analyse the daily performance of the domestic hotel market.

The system provides automated data-recording, so the following basic data can be quickly uploaded:

1. RoomRevenue
2. Rooms Available
3. Rooms Sold
4. Total Revenue
5. RevPAR
6. RoomRevenue with breakfast

Data-processing is free of charge for participating hotels. Based on the daily data, the hotel’s performance is assessed monthly, with regard to chosen competitors and the average performance of the category.

The comprehensive data of the system can serve as the base of research for various support and governmental organisations, investors, banks, developers, as the data can be dealt with along separate categories. Assessment of the results of city, medical, wellness, boutique and suite hotels is possible, alongside with the analysis of the biggest city and health-tourism destinations of the national hotel market. At the present time more than 120 hotels participate in the system.
